GREY COAST
the beach here is covered in soft, grey sand and fine grey ash, apart from the rocks and ledges scattered about. cliffs cut it off from the rest of the land and the only way to get up or down is by a steep, often slippery path. there are plenty of rockpools and, nearer to the cliffs there are rocks which are often covered in seaweed. there are some ledges in the cliff face that you can climb up onto from the beach and many small caves, some going deep into the cliffs, dot the area. the tide comes in high at nightime, so it would be best to find a ledge at dusk, if you won't make it to the path in time.
